Hello everyone! My name is Amy and I am an Irish girl living and working as a teacher in Hong Kong. I have been here 11 years so far and I am loving it. I share my passion for teaching with travel, sport, hiking, running, taking pictures, and writing a bit!
I have been documenting my travels for quite some time so I decided to create this website as a place to share all my stories. Maybe you will get something from this website, be it some funny stories, helpful tips, or some inspiration to travel a bit more.
I love to travel solo but also love to travel with family and friends if they are up for any adventure that I plan! It adds to the experience and long lasting memories 🙂
upcoming trips
Summer 2024 has a great line up of trips!! First up I am doing a trekking trip in the Dolomites in Italy with three of my amazing friends! It’s a thru hike, a hut to hut trek over the Alta Via 1. we cannot wait!
After the hike in the Dolomites, I will be doing a cycle trough Italy, Austria and Slovenia with my mam for 9 days. She’s a trooper!
And finally I will be going solo on a five day cycle trip around the Istria Peninsula. Haven’t quite planned this one yet, but I’ll get the Parenzana cycle trail in hopefully. It looks cool, all on a railway! Might just see what happens…
